Job Summary
Fill prescriptions safely and accurately while maintaining positive relationships with patients, team members, and leadership. Hold pharmacy technicians accountable for results and educate them to be effective team members. Perform and oversee clinical services, including immunizations, and listen to patients to resolve their needs. In the absence of the pharmacist in charge, manage pharmacy operations. Ensure competency in Meijer policies, procedures, and state and federal laws. Prioritize workload effectively and communicate as an agent of change.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy
- Registered and licensed in the state of practice
- Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana)
- Retail/Community Practice
- Working knowledge of pharmacy system
- Working knowledge of policies and procedures
- Understanding of regulatory in the state the unit operates
