Job Summary
Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely for patients while ensuring adequate inventory levels to meet their needs. Counsel patients regarding new and additional medications through friendly, proactive interactions and educate them on public health initiatives and community clinics. Provide timely resolution to patient and doctor requests, review and control costs across all pharmacy levels, and deliver ongoing training to technicians, interns, and students. This role requires regular travel across multiple pharmacy locations and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with a Class A license. Candidates must possess strong leadership skills, community-based marketing experience, and proficiency with Healthwatch or KROLL Pharmacy systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy
- Class A Pharmacists license
- Superior customer relations skills
- Strong sense of professionalism
- Excellent leadership and performance management skills
- Proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Experience formulating and executing action plans
- Knowledge of Healthwatch and/or KROLL Pharmacy systems
- Regular travel
- Reliable means of transportation
- Ability to work in a variety of different pharmacies
- Age 18 years or older
- Completion of a criminal background check
