Job Summary
Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely for patients while ensuring adequate inventory levels for Rx and over-the-counter supplements. Counsel patients on new and additional medications through friendly, proactive interactions, and create awareness via public relations initiatives like health days. Provide timely resolution to patient and doctor requests, review and control costs within the dispensary, and conduct ongoing training for technicians, interns, and students. This role requires regular travel across various pharmacies and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with a Class A license. Candidates must possess strong leadership, marketing, and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy
- Class A Pharmacists license
- Superior customer relations skills
- Strong sense of professionalism
- Excellent leadership and performance management skills
- Proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- experience formulating and executing action plans
- knowledge of Healthwatch and/or KROLL Pharmacy systems
- Regular travel
- reliable means of transportation
- ability to work in a variety of different pharmacies
- 18 years or older
- ability to complete a criminal background check
