Job Summary
Relief Operator I works multiple positions in the Cheese Manufacturing operation, rotating 1st shift from 4am to 4pm on a 2-2-3 schedule. The role relieves Table Operator, Packaging Operator, Packaging and Shipping Operator, and Food Sanitation Team Member duties, including monitoring curd and whey, testing parameters with analytical equipment, operating table and packaging equipment via HMI, weighing and distributing salt, sanitation of tables and related areas, data recording, and ensuring compliance with Safety, HACCP and GMP policies. Additional duties include training other team members, operating pallet trucks, handling block forming and shipping processes, and maintaining cleanliness across facilities. Must have strong monitoring, math, communication, and independent as well as team-work abilities, with exposure to hazardous materials and protective equipment requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalency (GED) required
- Food manufacturing or sanitation experience desired
- Certified to operate motorized pallet trucks (will train and certify internally)
