Job Summary
Relief Youth Advocates in Eliot’s Juvenile Justice program provide trauma-informed, youth-centered care in residential settings for youths ages 13–21 who are court-involved. Responsibilities include creating a safe, therapeutic environment using Positive Youth Development principles, promoting inclusive and respectful environments, mentoring youths’ development, implementing program activities that foster personal growth and healthy decision-making, and applying safety and crisis-prevention/de-escalation skills. The role supports career growth and benefits, with an hourly rate of $20 and a varied schedule in a mission-driven, inclusive workplace.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with population
- Valid Massachusetts drivers license
