Job Summary
Relief long-haul driver in training to cover planned and unplanned time off, with duties including but not limited to local driving, shuttle of equipment between plant and locations including cold storage, and general warehouse tasks. Drive in a safe manner following DOT rules, work as a team member to complete tasks, follow loading procedures per load sheets, and report incidents using established protocols. Use the Whip Around app to accomplish prescribed tasks and report maintenance or safety issues. Priorities include operating a class 8 vehicle, meeting safety standards, and maintaining good attendance while accommodating varying hours and extensive travel.
Required Qualifications
- Be twenty-one (21) years or older.
- Possess a Commercial Driver’s License (Class A).
- Pass a D.O.T. Physical and drug screen exam.
- Pass a D.O.T. road test.
- Have a proven background in the operation of a class 8 vehicle.
- Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 110-degree F to -20-degree F.
- Must adhere to all Department of Transportation and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety standards.
- Must adhere to Riverence Provisions LLC., safety standards.
