Job Summary
Relief Day Camp Counsellor will deliver high-quality day camp programming to children aged 4–16 across YMCA locations in London, Ontario. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering engaging activities, ensuring campers’ safety and well-being, participating in weekly staff meetings, and adhering to Health & Safety and Child Protection policies. Must be comfortable working indoors, outdoors, and in aquatic environments; be on your feet for extended periods and actively engage children in active play. Requires experience with children in a Day Camp setting, current Emergency First Aid or higher, and a clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening. Will embody YMCA core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect & Responsibility and Inclusivity.
