Job Summary
Relief Behavior Technician II provides clinical support to adults and children in residential, inpatient, day/evening, outpatient, and community-based behavioral health programs. Responsibilities include establishing positive helping relationships with people served, assisting with activities of daily living and accessing resources, ensuring health, safety and well-being, implementing interventions per treatment plans, and monitoring and documenting progress. Requires High School Diploma or GED; CPR certification (or ability to obtain); CPI training (or ability to complete); valid driver’s license; ability to pass background screenings; strong verbal and written communication; and adaptability to work across multiple behavioral health programs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must be able to obtain CPR certification
- Must be able to pass CPI training
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with good driving record and be insurable
- Must be able to pass organization screening requirements including state or federal background screenings as appropriate
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work other behavioral health programs as needed
