Job Summary
The Relief Behavior Technician II supports counselors, therapy, and nursing staff by providing clinical assistance to adults and children receiving behavioral health and co-occurring services across residential, inpatient, day/evening, outpatient, and community programs. Responsibilities include establishing positive helping relationships, assisting with activities of daily living and resource access, ensuring health, safety, and well-being, implementing interventions per the individualized treatment or service plan, and monitoring and documenting client progress. Requires a High School Diploma or GED, CPR certification, CPI training, and a valid driver’s license; strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work across multiple behavioral health programs; and successful completion of required background screenings. Compensation ranges from $15.00-$16.12 per hour with shift differential and potential supplemental pay depending on program.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of experience in behavioral health preferred
- CPR certification (must be obtained)
- CPI training (must pass)
- valid driver’s license with good driving record
- background screenings as appropriate
