Job Summary
Caregivers provide non-medical in-home support to a client, enabling them to remain in their residence. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living and personal care such as bathing, dressing, ambulation, mouth care, feeding, toileting/incontinence care, transferring, medication reminders, skin care, meal planning and preparation, light housekeeping and laundry, transportation, shopping for personal care items or groceries, and companionship. Requires 18+ with I-9 eligibility; must obtain TB certificate, CA Home Care Aide (HCA) registration, and complete LIC 508, LIC 501, and SOC 341A during onboarding. Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification documents
- Current Tuberculosis (TB) certificate
- Registered with state of CA and active HCA number
- Completed “Criminal Record Statement” (LIC 508)
- Complete “Personnel Record” (LIC 501)
- Complete “Statement Acknowledging Requirement to Report Suspected Abuse of Dependent Adults and Elders” (SOC 341A)
