Reliability Technologist

Job Summary
Improve operational performance and technical reliability by leading predictive maintenance programs, optimizing maintenance structures, and developing PM and PdM strategies for existing and new equipment. Facilitate OEE improvement initiatives, analyze daily reporting to plan actions, and mentor plant staff in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and industrial safety. Collaborate on machine design, make basic controls programming changes, and evaluate supplier technical solutions to ensure equipment maintainability. Manage small engineering projects, define project scopes, and support industrial trials while maintaining up-to-date maintenance procedures and technical files. Some after-hours on-call plant support is required for controls and automation troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Reliability or as a specialized Maintenance professional in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in food manufacturing with knowledge of packaging processes is strongly preferred
- Experience applying lean manufacturing and six sigma principles
- MS Office Suite proficient
- CMMS experience required
- Must have the ability to lead thru influence, work cross-functionally, and provide guidance, feedback and coaching to plant employees
- Well-developed time management and organizational skills
- Ability to see the big picture and work independently
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Be a champion for safety, quality and GMP standards, as needed
- Must have strong skills in electrical, mechanical, and controls
- Able to access all areas of the manufacturing facility including use of stairs, ladders, and the occasional powered lift
- Must be able to wear PPE and GMP attire
- Must be able to work 8 hours per day and be on his/her feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
