Job Summary
Maintain and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, AC/DC electrical, and mechanical systems on process and packaging equipment while troubleshooting up to 480VAC 3 Phase components. Coordinate daily workload, ensure planned work is completed or escalated, and record major issues in the CMMS to track utilization. Perform basic welding repairs, follow storeroom processes for inventory accuracy, and support team safety and engagement. Practice safety protocols and prioritize multiple mechanical, electrical, and administrative tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience as maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to troubleshoot various basic level competencies: pneumatic, hydraulic, AC/DC electrical systems, automation & instrumentation, and mechanical systems on all process and packaging equipment with minimal guidance
- Basic welding ability for repairs
- Clear ability to relate to people
- Basic written and oral communication skills
- Functional in Micro-Soft office and CMMS software
- Basic technical/functional skills maintaining assets and machine components for an area of responsibility
- Ability to troubleshoot AC/DC Electrical components (up to 480VAC 3 Phase) on all assigned equipment using basic test equipment such as multi-meters and amp probes
- Possess a fundamental understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and mechanical drawings to solve problems in a timely manner at the component level on all assigned equipment
- Basic problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs.)
- Frequent pushing/pulling (50-200 lbs.)
- Frequent handling/gripping/bending/stooping

- 4+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing setting
