Job Summary
Senior Reliability Specialist- Maintenance Systems and Governance responsible for enterprise ownership, governance, and continuous improvement of maintenance systems and standards, with a primary focus on SAP PM and MRO-related functionality. Owns SAP PM governance across manufacturing sites, develops and maintains corporate maintenance standards, translates reliability strategy into practical system-enabled solutions, and leads lifecycle management of SAP PM solutions. Delivers training and mentorship for planners and maintenance teams, collaborates with site maintenance, reliability, and corporate teams to drive consistent system usage, supports assessments and audits, and continuously improves maintenance system effectiveness. Requires strong knowledge of SAP PM, maintenance governance, data quality, metrics, and cross-site collaboration; travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, Information Systems, or a related technical field preferred
- Equivalent experience in maintenance systems governance and SAP PM may be considered in lieu of formal education
- Experience in maintenance systems, reliability, or asset management within a manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of SAP PM, including preventive maintenance, task lists, work order management, notifications, and master data governance
- Experience developing, governing, and deploying maintenance standards across multiple sites
- Working knowledge of preventive maintenance, failure analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Proven ability to design, test, validate, and implement system solutions prior to enterprise deployment
- Experience supporting MRO-related system functionality and integration with maintenance planning processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to system usage, data quality, and process effectiveness
- Ability to interpret maintenance and reliability data and support development of meaningful metrics and reports
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority
