Job Summary
Lead, supervise, and coordinate maintenance staff including mechanics and technicians while scheduling tasks and monitoring completion. Identify equipment reliability issues, implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans, and conduct regular inspections and audits. Manage spare parts inventory, assist in developing maintenance budgets, and provide training to enhance staff skills. Maintain detailed records of activities and ensure all work adheres to safety regulations and company policies. Due to manufacturing operations, the role requires on-call availability for specific operations or projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline) or equivalent work experience.
- Ten (10) + plus years industrial R&M experience and five (5) years of prior supervisory and budgetary experience is required.
- Proven experience in maintenance and reliability management, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong technical knowledge of equipment and machinery.
- Knowledge of maintenance best practices and reliability improvement techniques.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and data analysis tools.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Availability to travel as needed.
- Due to the nature of manufacturing operations, the incumbent may be required to be on call and available for specific operations or projects.
