Job Summary
Reliability Engineer role supporting Open Pit operations with data-driven analysis, failure modes, and root-cause investigations to optimize maintenance and asset life-cycle. Responsible for data management and reporting on maintenance metrics (availability, mean repair duration, mean time between maintenance, component usage and cost), oil analysis, onboard telemetry data, and CMMS work orders. Requires collaboration with Planning and Maintenance teams, ability to perform oil analysis and obtain MLA1/MLA2 certifications, and proficiency with Power BI/Power View. Based at the Cripple Creek site in Colorado, with 10-hour shifts and outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical diploma (or equivalent experience) preferred, plus strong communication, organizational, and data-driven decision-making skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, a technical diploma, OR equivalent industry experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience with Reporting Software tools such as Power View, Power BI
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions
- Willingness to train and achieve MLA1 and MLA2 oil analysis certifications
- Experience with CMMS
- Experience with data analysis, failure analysis, and root cause investigation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage priorities
- Ability to work both in-person and virtually
- Knowledge of maintenance planning and asset life cycle management
