Job Summary
Reliability Engineer responsible for on-site support and managing reliability contracts for mechanical seals in Malaysia. Key duties include on-site seal installation/removal guidance, initial site assessments, commissioning support for seal systems, 5-point checks prior to installation, conducting RCA for failures, reliability data management and reporting, KPI monitoring, and coordinating repairs, with regular interactions with stakeholders to drive preventive actions and optimization of seal systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Eng)
- 3-8 years of experience in relevant field
- Sound knowledge of pumps & mechanical seals in Oil & Gas or Petrochem Industry
- Knowledge of API Standards
- Field experience in installation, commissioning & maintenance of pumps & seals
- Exposure to Condition Monitoring techniques such as Vibration Analysis, Ultra-Sound Analysis, Motion Amplification (advantage)
