Job Summary
Refine preventive maintenance task frequencies and failure mode logic within the site's criticality framework for N+1 systems like chillers and pumps. Maintain and improve maintenance work standards across critical mechanical equipment while tracking core reliability KPIs including preventive to reactive ratios and mean time between failures. Serve as the technical point of contact for the Integrated Facilities Management provider, coaching planners on work order quality and validating asset assessments against real operating history. Conduct root cause and failure analysis for significant equipment failures to translate findings into program strategy updates. This role matures the asset reliability program at a 1.2 million square foot advanced aerospace manufacturing facility, establishing the foundation for one of Pratt & Whitney's most significant manufacturing expansions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related STEM field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing facilities maintenance and reliability
- Advanced degree with 3+ Years of related experience
- Demonstrated experience developing a maintenance reliability program from an early or undeveloped state into a fully structured, mature system
- Hands-on working knowledge of facilities equipment including HVAC, compressed air systems, and electrical distribution
- SAP PM module experience including functional location structure, equipment master record configuration, and maintenance task list development
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident)
- U.S. citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) through SMRP
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability manufacturing environments
- Experience supporting capital equipment commissioning and utility dependency documentation
- Advanced degree in reliability, maintenance, or systems engineering
