Reliability Engineer

Job Summary
Reliability Engineer to optimize equipment reliability and lifespan in the maintenance department. You’ll analyze repair and improvement needs, develop and implement efficient equipment strategies using maintenance data, and identify opportunities to reduce downtime. Project management responsibilities include defining scope, evaluating alternatives, preparing estimates, managing budgets, and overseeing contractors (RFQs, bids, inspections) while ensuring compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations. Engineering analysis and design tasks involve evaluating product and equipment specifications, supporting plant equipment feasibility, and using computer-aided engineering tools. Technical support responsibilities include contributing to PM and PdM program development, staying current with industry trends, and applying knowledge of manufacturing techniques and material properties to long-term planning. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 3-5 years of relevant experience; relocation assistance is provided and a flexible schedule with possible first/partial third shifts. Physical requirements include climbing ladders, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds; familiarity with MSHA mining methods is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial)
- 3-5 years of engineering experience with a strong preference for Maintenance Reliability and High Voltage Electrical systems
- Reliability Certification and Manufacturing experience are preferred
- Familiarity with CMMS is preferred
