Job Summary
Reliability Engineer II responsible for reviewing, investigating and developing appropriate recommendations regarding assigned Reliability Engineering projects; utilizing new technology to upgrade site safety, efficiencies, cost controls, quality controls and environmental protection; collaborating with Operations and Maintenance and other Engineering staff to solve problems and improve KPIs; coordinating project activities to improve equipment maintenance availability; ensuring accurate documentation for assigned projects; participating in small to medium site construction, expansion or modification projects; administering contracts with vendors for services and equipment; developing working knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal regulations; performing other duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related Engineering discipline and three (3) years of related experience in Engineering OR Master's degree in related Engineering discipline and two (2) years of related experience
- Knowledge in probability and statistical analysis
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of Reliability Engineering
- Ability to research and analyze information of considerable difficulty and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions
- Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
