Job Summary

Reliability Engineer II responsible for creating, implementing, and monitoring Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) programs; monitor reliability-based systems including preventative maintenance, vibration analysis, and condition monitoring; develop preventative maintenance routines (PMRs) and BOMs for plant equipment; manage preventive/predictive maintenance programs (Inspection, Vibration, Oil Analysis, NDT, thermography) to optimize equipment availability; oversee preventative maintenance work orders coordinating area operations with central maintenance; provide leadership and coaching to reliability and plant-area teams; drive root cause analysis, Pareto analysis, statistical reviews, FMEA to eliminate repetitive problems; facilitate continuous improvement for equipment availability and reliability; support improvements in MTBF of major equipment; promote safety culture and adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies; eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Field of Study Preferred: Mechanical Engineering
  • Required Work Experience: 5-7 Years
  • Experience in FFT analysis of vibration spectra on a range of heavy industrial plant
  • Experience in practical application of FMEA, NDT inspection techniques preferred
  • Working knowledge of instrumentation, process controls, motors, starts, VFDs preferred
  • Safety and PPE compliance, respirator fit testing
  • 0-10% travel
