Job Summary
Entry-level Reliability Engineer I on the Affera Hardware Product Quality team responsible for reliability studies, risk analyses, design qualification support (DV/DVal), and implementation of actions to maintain patient safety and product reliability. The role involves developing and coordinating experiments, applying statistical process control, analyzing performance data, identifying and mitigating failure risks, and proposing design or process changes to improve reliability. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer engineering; preferred background includes medical device experience and knowledge of DV/DVal. Onsite work with a minimum of four days per week in the location, with U.S. work authorization expectations. The role supports multiple change efforts across the lifecycle of capital equipment and Affera system components to ensure compliance and reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer engineering
- minimum 0 years of relevant experience (entry-level)
- Medical Device Experience preferred
- Knowledge of design qualification (DV and DVal)
- For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, a degree that satisfies 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
