Job Summary

Lead asset performance management initiatives across HV/MV/LV electrical assets, developing and implementing FMEA models, AHIs/AMIs, and remaining useful life estimates. Create and manage asset types and data within APM platforms, develop automated diagnostic algorithms for fault detection and risk quantification, and support ROI modeling to optimize OPEX/CAPEX. Generate actionable alerts and maintenance strategies to enhance asset reliability and lifecycle. Execute advanced electrical testing and commissioning of transformers, motors, generators, GIS/AIS switchgear, and related substation equipment, including Partial Discharge testing, Infrared Thermography, transformer oil analysis, and insulation tests per IEC/IEEE standards. Lead RCA and develop maintenance strategies; design digital inspection tools; manage asset data lifecycle from site inspection to central reporting; implement defect coding and digital forms for audits. Provide technical evaluation for tenders, assist regional teams, conduct client workshops on APM capabilities, and ensure safety and EHS compliance. Support business growth and customer satisfaction through quality-focused delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Power specialization preferred)
  • Min 5 years' experience in electrical asset diagnostics, APM, and lifecycle management in power generation or utilities
  • Proven expertise in electrical testing and commissioning of switchyard and substation assets per IEC/IEEE standards
  • Strong skills in diagnostic modeling, data analytics, and digital asset inspection tools
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
  • Certified training in Infrared Thermography Level 1, Partial Discharge analysis, Transformer Oil Analysis, and recognized APM methodologies preferred
  • Arabic or additional regional language is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel in-country and internationally
