Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Conduct investigations on plant equipment using data analysis and daily route walks to identify risks and prevent defects affecting production. Monitor vibration data from automation systems, analyze findings for machinery issues, and write work requests in SAP. Coordinate with all departments to plan preventative maintenance, repairs, and material requirements while driving continuous improvement for optimized performance. Provide reliability coverage as needed, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and call-ins to eliminate unplanned downtime. Ensure safety policies are followed and quality, budgetary, and environmental objectives are met.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or similar degree
  • minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of manufacturing plant processes
  • Good knowledge of local codes and standards
  • Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English, verbally and in writing
  • Must be able to walk long distances and stand and work for more than 2 hours in tough environmental conditions (high temperature, high humidity, noise, & dust), and withstand heights of up to 500 feet
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work
  • Must have or be able to obtain a TWIC-card

Desired Qualifications

  • Motors, PLC, Drives Experience preferred
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance knowledge
  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics and process flow diagrams
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)
  • Experience in Autocad (CAD)
