Job Summary
Lead reliability improvements at Aquila Mine in Middlemount, driving world-class maintenance performance for underground equipment. Develop and implement reliability initiatives with the Engineering & Maintenance teams; analyze asset performance to design long-term improvement strategies; review and tailor maintenance strategies for underground operations; coach maintenance personnel in best-practice processes; enhance equipment availability through Asset Management, Condition Monitoring, Defect Elimination, Root Cause Analysis, and Machine Health Programs; contribute to continuous improvement projects and support cost-effective operations. Requires a tertiary engineering degree and demonstrated underground mining reliability/mechanical engineering experience with mobile fleet and preventative maintenance. Full-time role based at Aquila Mine, Middlemount with Residential, FIFO and DIDO options and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary degree in Engineering or a related discipline
- Demonstrated reliability or mechanical engineering experience within the Underground mining industry with a focus on Mobile fleet equipment & preventative maintenance
