Job Summary
Senior-level Reliability Electrician IV responsible for maintaining and optimizing electrical automation and control systems, mentoring junior electricians, leading advanced troubleshooting, and contributing to continuous improvement across the facility. Emphasizes safe work practices per OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70E; performs preventive and condition-based maintenance; updates schematics and documentation; supports plant projects and upgrades including motors, drives, PLCs, HMI systems, and related electrical equipment; shares knowledge with Reliability Electrician II–III and supports senior upgrades. Requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and a customer-service orientation to deliver high-quality electrical work and drive reliability improvements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of Reliability Electrician III requirements
- Previous experience in electrical manufacturing
- Demonstrated advanced troubleshooting in industrial electrical systems
- Experience with PLC programming and automation systems
- Technical school, apprenticeship, or industrial electrical certification (preferred)
- Experience with robotics, motion systems, and advanced automation
- PdM experience (IR, ultrasound, data analytics)
