Job Summary

Conduct reliability analyses on satellite systems and work with the team to evaluate flight hardware. Support Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) efforts and write code to automate performance evaluation and testing of satellite hardware. Perform hands-on design, build, and test of hardware from scratch within a fast-paced environment. This twelve-week internship is for currently enrolled four-year university students pursuing an electrical or computer engineering degree. Applicants must hold U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or refugee/asylee status.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a B.S. in electrical or computer engineering (or equivalent technical degree)
  • U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status
  • Demonstrated ability to personally design, build, and test hardware from scratch

Desired Qualifications

  • Interest in learning about, designing, and working with power electronics systems
  • A passion for hardware development, including working in a fast-paced environment and hands-on design and development
  • Experience with agentic AI systems
  • Experience with SPICE-based simulators (LTSpice, PSPICE, ADS, etc)
  • Familiarity with standard EE lab bench (power supply, oscilloscope, multimeter, etc)
  • Experience with Python
