Job Summary

Support the program in the Failure Reporting And Corrective Action (FRACAS) process for product production and sustainment. Develop Built-In test (BIT), reliability/maintainability/testability, and diagnostic requirements. Define failure modes and their effects on systems while collaborating with hardware/software design teams to identify and resolve non-conformances. Interpret interfaces between hardware and software EW/Radar/EO-IR systems and utilize reliability/maintainability/testability analysis tools. This onsite role at RTX's Richardson, Texas facility requires an active Top Secret security clearance and a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field. The position is part of Life Cycle Engineering, which manages the total product life cycle from conception to deactivation for aerospace and defense solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience supporting the program in the Failure Reporting And Corrective Action (FRACAS) process for product production and/or sustainment
  • Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance

Desired Qualifications

  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance
  • Product testing and troubleshooting in the factory/depot or field environment
  • Working within cross-disciplinary teams
  • Presenting data to internal or external customers
  • Reliability/maintainability/testability analysis tools (e.g. Reliasoft Tool Suite, DSI eXpress, or Windchill)
  • Interpreting interfaces between hardware and software
  • EW/Radar/EO-IR system
  • Software/firmware development and implementation
  • Diagnostic dependency modeling experience
  • Experience working in the DoD customer community (US Army, US Air Force, US Navy)
