Job Summary
Site subject matter expert for PLC and control systems, ensuring reliability, supportability and future-proofing of manufacturing technology. Responsible for rapid breakdown support, owning PLC standards and backups, and managing OT assets to minimise risk and downtime. Drive continuous improvement to optimise performance, enhance system capability and ensure robust control system design with compliance to safety standards. Ideal candidate has hands-on Siemens PLC experience (S7/TIA Portal), fault-finding in high-pressure breakdowns, proficiency with HMIs, drives and industrial networks, and the ability to interpret electrical schematics and control logic. Comfortable coaching others, promoting best practices, and communicating clearly. Experience with PLC backups, OT environments or high-volume manufacturing is advantageous.
