Job Summary
As the GEODS Release Train Engineer, responsibilities include planning and executing project and release train initiatives, coordinating release-related activities, and supervising Scrum Masters and User Engagement managers. The role requires experience in Agile methodologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage schedules and coordinate events effectively. The position requires a Master's degree with 4 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree with 6 years, or an equivalent level of experience in the relevant field.
Required Qualifications
- At least 6 years demonstrated experience with software development using SAFe or similar Agile methodologies
- Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts and challenges
- Ability to lead and direct software developer teams through program increment planning
- Ability to identify and mitigate impediments to software development schedule
- Training and/or certification as a Scrum Master
- Demonstrated success in delivering functional code to the Government’s satisfaction
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Certification
- Experience with Atlassian suite, specifically Jira and Confluence
- Cloud certification(s), preferably from AWS, OCI or Google Cloud
- Previous NGA experience
