Job Summary
Release Manager II for VALORANT overseeing the release and deployment pipeline, collaborating with development, operations, and product teams to ensure a high-quality global player experience. Responsible for owning areas of the release pipeline, identifying risks, driving issue resolution, coordinating across teams, refining release practices, and driving improvements to improve delivery reliability and efficiency. Emphasizes continuous improvement, automation, and clear communication to internal developers and players. Strong focus on safeguarding live service health and coordinating cross-functional efforts to deliver updates and content smoothly.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Release Management or related roles (e.g., Technical QA, Live Operations, DevOps) within PC software or live service environments
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and development tools (e.g., Jenkins, Perforce, Git, Datadog, JIRA)
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and collaborate effectively with engineers
- Comfort with technical systems, scripting, automation, or AI-assisted tooling to improve workflows
- Strong written and verbal communication skills tailored to different audiences
- Proven ability to drive issues to resolution in a live service or operational environment
- Experience coordinating work across multiple teams and delivering on scoped projects
