Job Summary

Own the end-to-end release process for Phantom's iOS and Android applications, managing schedules, branches, versioning, and app store submissions. Coordinate release readiness across engineering, QA, product, and support teams while leading go/no-go decisions and ensuring risks are clearly communicated. Handle hotfixes, emergency releases, and rollouts through TestFlight, App Store Connect, and Google Play Console, monitoring health metrics like crashes and regressions. Troubleshoot build, signing, and deployment failures, then improve automation using GitHub Actions, Fastlane, or Python. Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with Apple and Google policies. This remote role requires US time zone availability and 3+ years of mobile release engineering experience.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in release engineering, mobile DevOps, build engineering, or a similar role
  • Hands-on experience releasing production iOS and Android applications
  • Strong knowledge of App Store Connect, TestFlight, Google Play Console, mobile signing, provisioning, and certificates
  • Experience working with mobile CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions, Bitrise, CircleCI, Buildkite, or similar tools
  • Experience managing release branches, versioning, hotfixes, and staged rollouts
  • Ability to troubleshoot mobile build and deployment issues
  • Familiarity with scripting or automation
  • Strong organizational, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills
  • Ability to remain calm and make clear decisions during time-sensitive releases or incidents
  • Remote work arrangement

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with React Native applications
  • Experience with Fastlane or other mobile release automation tools
  • Experience supporting a high-scale consumer mobile application
  • Familiarity with mobile QA, automated testing, crash monitoring, or release observability
  • Previous experience in crypto, fintech, web3, or another highly regulated or security-sensitive product area
