Job Summary

Manage source code repositories, automate build, test, and deployment processes, and design release pipelines to ensure smooth and reliable software rollouts. Serve as a gatekeeper for code transitions from development to operational environments while maintaining configuration control and integrity. Train team members on continuous integration tools and work jointly with engineering, operations, and quality assurance to create, test, and deploy builds efficiently. Develop policies for hotfixes and emergency releases, maintain documentation for procedures and configurations, and track release metrics to identify improvement areas. Facilitate communication across teams regarding release statuses and timelines, and manage environment configurations including deployment and rollback procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret/ Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with ability to pass Poly clearance
  • Minimum of 8 years relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Master's degree and 6 years of relevant experience
  • PhD with 3 years relevant experience
  • High School diploma and 12 years relevant work experience in the IT field
  • Knowledge of Application Server architecture in a large enterprise environment
  • Experience administering application server architectures in large enterprise environments
  • Understanding of web technologies include application and web servers, load balancers, browsers, protocols, data formats, markup and programming languages, and SSL
  • Familiarity with the Linux command line and basic Linux architecture
  • Ability to troubleshoot Java-based web applications
  • Shell and/or Python scripting experience
  • Working knowledge of database technologies such as Oracle and SQL
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to customers and senior leaders
  • CISSP or Security+ Certification required
  • Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance
  • US Citizenship

Desired Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of infrastructure as code principles and the use of technologies such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Salt
  • Knowledge of Apache web server administration
  • Knowledge of identity management solutions such as Oracle IAM or RH-SSO (Keycloak) is a plus
  • Experience with load balancing technologies such as HA Proxy is a plus
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins is a plus
  • Familiarity with container orchestration and VMWare is a plus
