Release Customs Analyst

Job Summary
Process, rate (where applicable), and release client shipments in compliance with Livingston procedures; create customs entries by selecting correct client records, documenting requirements, and interpreting documentation; perform data entry for release, rating, and billing with complete and accurate fields; determine correct duty value and tariff treatment using appropriate HS codes; coordinate with Release Import Analyst or client service for missing documentation; verify release conditions and SOP/ESPs applicability; identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and client service; respond to call-center information requests professionally; prioritize work to meet client and customs requirements; escalate complex release issues for authorization; assist with billing/data entry when required; work with team to ensure thorough and accurate daily operations and leverage system automation tools.
Required Qualifications
- High School/GED or equivalent
- Working towards or completion of CCS designation with CSCB or NCBFAA
- Successful completion of the CCS examination is a mandatory requirement for further advancement
