Job Summary
Relationship Officer - LAP responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, acquiring and onboarding customers for Loan Against Property (LAP) products, explaining LAP features clearly, assisting clients through the loan application process, conducting initial credit assessment, liaising with internal teams for timely processing, achieving sales targets, monitoring market trends, maintaining customer records and reports, and ensuring regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction. The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, and prior experience in secured lending is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience (typically 2-5 years) in sales or relationship management, preferably within the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on secured lending products like LAP
- Strong understanding of Loan Against Property products, processes, and relevant market dynamics
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with clients
- Results-oriented with a strong track record of achieving sales targets
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of local market and regulatory requirements for secured lending is preferred
