Job Summary
Commercial Relationship Manager responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of commercial clients within a defined geographic territory; emphasizes business development and client retention; underwrite complex commercial real estate and business loans (CRE and C&I); prepare credit memorandums with detailed financial, industry, and guarantor analysis; collaborate with internal partners to identify cross-sell opportunities across banking products; monitor credit issues and ensure compliance with internal policies; stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes; occasional travel within the assigned region.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in commercial banking, credit analysis, or underwriting
- Proven experience with both C&I and commercial real estate lending
- Strong credit skills and knowledge of financial spreading software (e.g., CASH, FAST, or similar)
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and banking systems
