Job Summary

Intern Relationship Manager, Commercial Financial Services delivers value-added financial advice and solutions tailored to commercial clients. The program is based primarily in a Commercial Centre for ~9 months with mentorship and on-the-job training, including self-study, interactive online courses, and classroom sessions. You will develop needs-based sales strategies, leverage sales planning and prospecting tools, and support client accounts, operating services, credit, lending, and deposits. Mobility within the Manitoba West market is required. The role emphasizes proactive client service, relationship development, and continuous improvement to enhance client experience and revenue growth.

Required Qualifications

  • Must-have Minimum 1-2 years of experience in commercial lending preferred, as well as previous banking experience in a relationship management role
  • A post-secondary diploma/degree, ideally in commerce or business administration, or related experience
  • Demonstrated success in a business development role, especially with respect to the acquisition of new clients, prospecting, and cold calling
  • Financial statement review and computer modeling and analysis experience
  • Experience with emerging communications and technology (i.e., web-based meetings, social media, digital banking, and mobile applications)
  • Mobility within the Manitoba West market
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
