Job Summary
Relationship Manager II services the Franklin County Market by soliciting new business, maintaining and expanding relationships with business customers, and achieving growth targets. Key duties include managing a loan portfolio of $40 million or more, cross-selling financial products (loans, deposits, cash management), conducting loan interviews and credit analysis, approving or rejecting loan applications within authority, monitoring sales performance, developing referrals, and coordinating cash management product installation, training, and ongoing support. The role requires deep knowledge of banking products, lending policies, SBA/PPP programs, risk assessment, regulatory requirements, and community engagement to build referral networks and participate in bank-sponsored events.
Required Qualifications
- A B.S. or B. A. degree in a business-related field normally required; specialized business lending education and training; specialized cash management education/training
- A minimum of five (5) years' experience in related lending positions is normally required
- Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations, communicative, and sales skills; a thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of bank products and services; a working knowledge of bank operating policies and procedures; a thorough knowledge of bank regulatory requirements as they relate to business lending; proficient technology skills; visual and auditory skills; valid driver’s license
