Job Summary
As a Relationship Manager, you’ll manage relationships with local producers and be responsible for developing a loan portfolio. You’ll tailor financing packages to meet customers’ needs, including both lending and non-lending products, and help them succeed. You’ll work closely with other FCC departments to cultivate long-term partnerships, share knowledge, and contribute to a culture of learning and customer-centricity. Responsibilities include building financing packages that meet business needs, executing loans (structure, gathering/validating financial documentation, securing approvals), collaborating with internal teams to successfully complete financing, traveling to customer farms/offices to assess needs and provide tailored support, analyzing customer financial information, creating/processing/approving new credit facilities, and growing the loan portfolio. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, at least one year of related ag finance or sales experience, strong communication of financial information, proven relationship-building skills, a valid driver’s license, and a passion for agriculture. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, business, commerce or a related field
- Minimum one year of related experience in ag finance, lending, credit analysis, business development or sales
- Experience communicating financial information or recommendations clearly to customers or internal partners
- Proven ability to build and maintain business relationships
- Valid driver’s licence and the ability to travel for customer meetings
- Passion for agriculture, with knowledge of farming operations or agribusiness environments
