Job Summary

Relationship Manager for Commercial banking (Special Accounts) operates a defined portfolio of high-risk borrowing accounts, delivering exceptional customer experience while applying credit-risk expertise to reduce loss exposure. Tasks include advising on complex credit-risk transactions, making credit decisions per policy, deepening relationships to grow profitability, evaluating loan proposals and restructurings, contributing to lending policies and training programs, coaching sales and service teams on risk and policy, producing regular/adhoc reports and dashboards, and coordinating with internal/external stakeholders (including legal and insolvency professionals). The role requires independent problem solving, change-management support, and a hybrid work arrangement with on-site presence three days per week in Chicago, IL or Milwaukee, WI.

Required Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree in related field
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • In-depth knowledge of banking products & services
  • Proven credit risk and financial analysis skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Ability to collaborate with internal/external stakeholders
  • Hybrid work model experience (on-site 3 days/week)
