Job Summary
Relationship Manager for Canada responsible for new business development in Canada, representing DoubleLine’s investment strategies to financial advisors and institutions. Develops annual business plans, grows AUM, builds and maintains relationships with financial advisors, tracks activity in Salesforce, delivers pre-approved investment presentations, coordinates client service with firm staff, and stays informed on market trends and fund performance. Requires extensive experience in investment management (10+ years) and 12-15 years as an external wholesaler, with a Bachelor's degree in marketing or a finance-related major preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently in a collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in marketing or a finance-related major
- Minimum of 10 years in the investment management industry and 12-15 years as an external wholesaler
- Previous sales experience in the financial services industry strongly preferred
- Existing relationships within territory is a strong plus
- Deep understanding of investment strategy offerings and comparison to competition
- Knowledge of investment management industry and portfolio management concepts
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to thrive in independent, challenging and collaborative environment
