Job Summary
Create a personalized, responsive customer experience by engaging in meaningful conversations to understand customer needs and educating them on digital banking tools and product benefits. Process a variety of transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and official checks while handling CD penalties, stop payments, and PIN resets. Follow all cash handling, security, and operational procedures, including the ability to count large sums of cash and coin. Work at other branch locations based on business needs with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0–2 years of customer service experience
- cash handling experience
- Excellent customer service, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer relationship focus
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and adaptable
- Ability to count large sums of cash and coin
- Basic computer skills and problem-solving ability
- Team-oriented with a commitment to professionalism and integrity
- Must be able to remain standing for 50%–75% of the time
- Occasionally move around the office to access files and equipment
- Frequent use of computers and office equipment (calculator, copier, printer)
- Ability to work at other branch locations based on business needs
- Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- 0–2 years of customer service experience; cash handling experience strongly preferred
