Job Summary
Relationship Executive in Mid-Corporate Banking focuses on acquiring and deepening client relationships within mid-market companies ($100M–$2B in revenue). Partners with Mid-Cap Investment Banking Team to connect clients with comprehensive solutions; interfaces with portfolio companies and financial sponsors teams; aims to grow profitable relationships, stay ahead of industry trends, and drive efficiency through automation. Requires seven+ years in lending/credit support, strong relationship-building with CEOs/CFOs, knowledge of Commercial Banking products, and the ability to meet sales goals. FINRA Series 79, 63 and SIE licenses are required or must be obtained within 180 days of hire. A Bachelor's degree is preferred. Strong business judgment, strategic thinking, and proactive, creative problem-solving are emphasized, along with experience with Financial Sponsors, Direct Lending, and Capital Markets Solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Seven plus years of lending or credit support experience with a focus on business relationships
- Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
- Proven ability to prospect and manage relationships with CEOs and CFOs
- Collaborative skills with internal partners and resources
- Record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and deadline-management abilities
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with senior partners
- Deep local market knowledge and connections
- Corporate finance expertise and strong transaction execution skills
- FINRA Series 79, 63 and Securities Industry Essentials licenses required or must obtain within 180 days of hire
- Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training (preferred)
- Experience with Financial Sponsors, Direct Lending and Capital Markets Solutions
