Job Summary
Relationship Executive in Mid-Corporate Banking focused on new client acquisition and deepening profitable relationships with mid-sized corporate clients ($100M-$2B revenues). Interfaces with Mid-Cap Investment Banking and portfolio-company sponsors teams to grow and retain profitable relationships, driving innovation and customer-centric solutions. Requires seven+ years of lending/credit support experience, solid knowledge of Commercial Banking products, ability to engage with CEOs/CFOs, and FINRA Series 79, 63, and SIE licenses (or obtain within 180 days). Bachelor’s degree preferred. Location: Miami, FL; full-time.
Required Qualifications
- Seven plus years of lending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships
- Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
- Methodical approach to market activities and prospecting, demonstrate proven client relationship skills, and can engage with CEOs and CFOs
- Ability to collaborate with internal partners and resources
- Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners
- Deep local connections and market knowledge
- Corporate finance expertise and strong transaction execution skills
- FINRA Series 79, 63 and Securities Industry Essentials licenses required or must obtain within 180 days of hire
- Preferred qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training
- Sales management, business development skills, proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships
- Experience with Financial Sponsors, Direct Lending and Capital Markets Solutions
- Strong creative solution, problem solving abilities, flexible to changing business priorities and ability to multitask
- Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, self-directed, proactive and creative
