Job Summary
Relationship Executive in Mid-Corporate Banking focused on new client acquisition and growing/retaining a portfolio of relationships within the mid-corporate market (revenues $100M-$2B). Interfaces with the Mid-Cap Investment Banking Team and the financial sponsors team to provide strategic financial solutions, while driving efficiency through automation and staying abreast of industry trends. Requires seven+ years in lending/credit support, strong client relationship skills to engage with CEOs and CFOs, capability to collaborate with internal partners, proven sales results, and FINRA licenses or ability to obtain within 180 days. Nashville-based with deep local market knowledge and strong transaction execution capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Seven plus years of lending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships
- Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
- Methodical approach to market activities and prospecting, demonstrate proven client relationship skills, and can engage with CEOs and CFOs
- Ability to collaborate with internal partners and resources
- Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners
- Deep local connections and market knowledge
- Corporate finance expertise and strong transaction execution skills
- FINRA Series 79, 63 and Securities Industry Essentials licenses required or must obtain within 180 days of hire
- Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training
- Sales management, business development skills, proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships
- Experience with Financial Sponsors, Direct Lending and Capital Markets Solutions.
