Job Summary
Relationship Executive in Mid-Corporate Banking focusing on new client acquisition and deepening a profitable portfolio. Acts as the interface with the Mid-Cap Investment Banking Team and the portfolio companies, expanding relationships within the Mid-Corporate Banking target market (revenues typically $100M–$2B). Drives growth and retention, champions customer-centric innovation, keeps abreast of industry trends, and explores efficiency via automation while leveraging new technologies. Requires seven+ years in lending or credit support with a relation‐ships focus, strong knowledge of commercial banking products, proven ability to engage with CEOs and CFOs, and a record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Licenses needed: FINRA Series 79, 63, and SIE or ability to obtain within 180 days of hire; preferred Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training.
Required Qualifications
- Seven plus years of lending or credit support experience with a focus on business relationships
- Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
- Methodical approach to market activities and prospecting, demonstrated client relationship skills, and ability to engage with CEOs and CFOs
- Ability to collaborate with internal partners and resources
- Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with ability to establish credibility and strong partnerships with senior business and control partners
- Deep local connections and market knowledge
- Corporate finance expertise and strong transaction execution skills
- FINRA Series 79, 63 and Securities Industry Essentials licenses required or must obtain within 180 days of hire
