Job Summary
Relationship Executive in Mid-Corporate Banking (Executive Director) responsible for new client acquisition and growing/maintaining a profitable portfolio of mid-corporate clients. Acts as primary interface with the Mid-Cap Investment Banking Team and the financial sponsors team, expanding relationships with CEOs and CFOs, leveraging corporate finance expertise, and driving solutions across banking products. Focuses on building customer-centric partnerships, staying current on industry trends, and driving efficiency via technology and automation while managing multiple partnerships and meeting sales and relationship goals.
Required Qualifications
- Seven plus years of lending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships
- Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
- Methodical approach to market activities and prospecting, demonstrate proven client relationship skills, and can engage with CEOs and CFOs
- Ability to collaborate with internal partners and resources
- Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners
- Deep local connections and market knowledge
- Corporate finance expertise and strong transaction execution skills
- FINRA Series 79, 63 and Securities Industry Essentials licenses required or must obtain within 180 days of hire
- Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training
- Sales management, business development skills, proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships
- Experience with Financial Sponsors, Direct Lending and Capital Markets Solutions.
