Job Summary
Relationship Executive on the Healthcare Technology Banking team focused on growing and retaining profitable relationships within the Commercial and Specialized Industries group, specializing in Healthcare Technology. Serves as the focal point of client acquisition and ongoing relationships with the world’s most innovative companies, working both independently and as part of a dynamic team to deliver the firm. Responsibilities include building a market brand for the Healthcare Technology team, developing new business by acquiring relationships and evaluating credit opportunities, deepening existing relationships by delivering the full firm, leading internal strategic discussions across solutions (Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Risk Management, Payments), championing a culture of innovation with a customer-centric mindset and risk management, researching prospects to identify needs for banking tools, and contributing to a growing nationwide team of prospects. Preferred additional qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training, experience with Capital Markets and Investment Banking products/services, and awareness of regulatory requirements (Federal Deposit Insurance Act). The role is located in San Francisco, CA.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of related experience
- Credit experience with investor backed companies
- Strong understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
- Understanding and interest in high growth software, payments, ecommerce and marketplaces
- Excellent sales management and business development skills
- Proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners
- Ability to leverage established relationships within venture capital and private equity ecosystem to drive new business
- Self-directed, proactive, and creative; uses sound judgment and navigates ambiguity to get things done
- FINRA Series 79, 63 and Securities Exam Essentials licenses required or must obtain within 180 days of hire
