Job Summary
Relationship Executive in Emerging Middle Market Banking serving as the focal point for client acquisition and ongoing relationships. Drive growth and retention of profitable relationships within the Emerging Middle Market (companies with annual revenues of $20M–$100M). Responsibilities include developing a weekly sales plan, cultivating referral sources, collaborating with internal partners, staying current with industry trends, identifying innovation opportunities, and leveraging banking products and services to provide strategic financial advice to CEOs/CFOs. Requires seven+ years in lending/credit support related to business relationships, a solid understanding of commercial banking products, strong relationship-building skills, proven sales performance, exceptional organization, and deep local market knowledge. Preferred Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training; skills in sales management, business development, and solution-oriented problem solving.
Required Qualifications
- Seven plus years lending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships
- Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
- Methodical approach to market activities and prospecting, demonstrate proven client relationship skills, and can engage with CEOs and CFOs
- Ability to collaborate with internal partners and resources
- Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals; proven top individual contributor
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners
- Deep local connections and market knowledge
