Job Summary
Relationship Executive in Emerging Middle Market Banking focused on acquiring and retaining profitable client relationships with companies typically generating $20M-$100M in revenue. Responsibilities include developing an weekly sales plan, leveraging internal partners, cultivating referral sources, staying abreast of industry trends, and driving opportunities through innovative approaches and automation to improve efficiency. The role requires senior-level experience in lending/credit support, ability to engage with CEOs/CFOs, and demonstrated success in achieving sales goals, along with strong organizational, interpersonal, and strategic thinking skills.
Required Qualifications
- Seven plus years lending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships
- Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
- Methodical approach to market activities and prospecting, demonstrate proven client relationship skills, and can engage with CEOs and CFOs
- Ability to collaborate with internal partners and resources
- Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals; proven top individual contributor
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners
- Deep local connections and market knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training preferred
- Sales management, business development skills, proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships
- Strong creative solution, problem solving abilities, flexible to changing business priorities and ability to multitask
- Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, self-directed, proactive and creative
