Job Summary
Be the focal point for client acquisition and ongoing relationships in Emerging Middle Market Banking, delivering strategic financial advice and comprehensive solutions to businesses. The role emphasizes building and retaining profitable relationships with companies in the $20M–$100M revenue range, collaborating with internal partners, developing a weekly sales plan, leveraging industry trends, and driving innovative use of technology to improve efficiency. Must engage with senior executives (CEOs/CFOs), cultivate referrals, and demonstrate a strong track record of meeting sales goals and building durable client partnerships. Preferred candidates have a Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training, along with strong business judgment, strategic thinking, and adaptability to changing priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Seven plus years lending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships
- Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
- Methodical approach to market activities and prospecting
- Proven client relationship skills and ability to engage with CEOs and CFOs
- Ability to collaborate with internal partners and resources
- Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals; proven top individual contributor
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners
- Deep local connections and market knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training preferred
